MAGMA COPPER, Year 1952

This is an authentic stock certificate issued by the Magma Copper Company in 1952.

Magma Copper Company is one of the largest copper producers in the United Stated. The company was incorporated in 1910.

The company's founder was Colonel William Boyce Thomson, a mining engineer turned Wall Street Trader. Production began in 1877 at the Silver Queen Mine in the Hastings Pioneer Mining district in the Arizona territory. 

The certificate has a beautiful vignette of a copper mine. This would make a great gift for anyone who has an interest in mining or history. 

This stock certificate is in very good circulated condition with the usual signs of wear and cancellation marks.
